Looking for something to do with the kids this month? How about taking them to Disney Pixar’s new movie Up?

Presented in beautiful 3-D animation, Up is a story that shares with us the lesson that our friendships are what make life meaningful. This film is touching, funny, and a high-flying adventure that will leave you and your children with a joyously good feeling. The characters are cute and feel somehow familiar, with their problems and quirks that are much like our own.

There are some frightening moments that could impact young children, and there are some elements of death and loss that could be a bit disturbing.  As with most of Pixar’s films, the story can be interpreted in different levels. For young children, it is a fun, silly adventure of an old man and a boy. For adults and older teenagers, it can prove to be a potent reminder of the sad moments in one’s life, and how quickly these years go by.

This is definitely a film worth seeing.
